In the traditional folk tale "Sleeping Beauty" the spell cast upon the lovely young
princess and everyone in her castle can only be broken by the kiss of a Prince.
Anne Rice's retelling of the Beauty story probes the unspoken implications of this lush,
suggestive tale by exploring its undeniable connection to sexual desire.

This sequel to The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, the first of Anne Rice's elegantly
written volumes of erotica, continues her explicit, teasing exploration of the psychology
of human desire. Beauty, having indulged in a secret and forbidden infatuation with the
rebellious slave Prince Tristan, is sent away from the Satyricon-like world of the castle.
Sold at auction, she will soon experience the tantalizing punishments of "the village,"
as her education in love, cruelty, dominance, submission, and tenderness is turned over
to the brazenly handsome Captain of the Guard.

In the final volume of Anne Rice's deliciously tantalizing erotic trilogy
(written as A. N. Roquelaure), Beauty's adventures on the dark side of sexuality
make her the bound captive of an Eastern Sultan and a prisoner in the exotic confines
of the harem. As this voluptuous adult fairy tale moves toward conclusion,
all Beauty's encounters with the myriad variations of sexual fantasy are presented
in a sensuous, rich prose that intensifies this exquisite rendition of Love's secret
world, and makes the Beauty series an incomparable study of erotica.

The classic erotic novel, THE STORY OF O relates the love of a beautiful Parisian fashion photographer for Rene. As part
of that intense love, she demands debasement and severe sexual and pychological tests. It is a unique work not to be missed.

This book introduces us to a hidden world where slavery is absolute and personal
honour is valued above all. In the novel, four marketplace slave candidates go through preparation for auction.
Slowly they are brought to a mind set closer to the Old Guard ideal of selfless servitude.
Its made clear in the novel that although they are often brutally used, the process
is consensual. They always have the option of leaving. The "hot" scenes are few and
while interesting never really smolder. I think that this may be because all of
the slaves are more or less vetrans of the D/s scene so there is no sense of seducion,
shock or initiation. They take the beatings, sex and humilations more or less in
stride.

The Trainer, third in the Marketplace series, turns to the world of Slave Trainers,
by following Michael LaGuardia, a junior trainer, as he joins the training house
of the enigmatic American trainer, Anderson.
Confident and self-assured, Michael soon learns that his natural
dominance is no match for Anderson's second-in-command, Chris Parker.
In this new edition of The Trainer, Antoniou expands on the Marketplace's
slave training houses, exploring the hedonistic lifestyle of a West Coast training
facility, a rigidly hierarchical training house in Great Britain, and the ascetic
and highly demanding dominant/submissive training style of the most sought-after
American trainer, Anderson.
